Peter is a Global Director of Khatib & Alami and is renowned for creating and completing environmentally Smart and Sustainable projects.
Peter plays a key role in the Company by bringing a unique approach to environmental design from the detailed urban design of places and spaces to the metropolitan and regional spatial planning scale.
Peter is a dedicated practitioner of Permaculture and committed to the notion that “small is beautiful”.
Peter understands the spatial efficiency of landscape, land use and movement, while understanding and working with the economic, technical and human dimensions required to make Smart and Sustainable landscapes, buildings and spaces successful. This approach has been used to great effect in work across Australia, Asia and Europe.
With over 30 years of Australian and International project experience, Peter also brings significant skills in planning, urban design, landscape architect, master planning, sustainability, golf course design, concept architecture as well as marketing, with extensive experience in promoting developments and gaining public acceptance of proposals.
Peter also has developed a unique approach to salt water agronomy, which shows promise for food cultivation and the like.
